    Welcoming Speech

“Towards quality and accountability in forensic practice.”

Welcome to the International Convention of Forensic Medicine & Sciences 2023, “Towards Quality and Accountability in Forensic Practice”

The International Convention of Forensic Medicine and Sciences 2023 Organising and Scientific Committees are delighted for the opportunity to organise this year’s convention, which will take place at the Bayview Hotel, Langkawi Island, from 25 – 27 July 2023.

This year’s theme, “Towards Quality and Accountability in Forensic Practice”, allows our delegates to explore the importance of maintaining high-quality forensic practice to ensure unbiased and evidence-based opinions in medicolegal death investigations. Knowledgeable and esteemed local and international speakers will present an excellent array of topics that will prove invaluable to our delegates.

The convention also offers a social event – dinner night – a great moment to catch up with colleagues. Finally, remember to spend time pre- or post-event visiting Langkawi Island’s treasures. There’s so much on offer at the International Convention of Forensic Medicine & Sciences 2023 – looking forward to seeing you there!
